Chesapeake Sheriffs Office "18 Strong"
The Chesapeake Sheriff's Office training academy recently held their 11th Session Deputy Academy Graduation. The graduating class started with 18 trainees and prided themselves on finishing the intense training period with those same 18 trainees. City Council member Matt Hamel was the keynote speaker and Circuit Court Clerk Dr. Alan Krasnoff gave the new deputies the oath. Then Sheriff Jim O'Sullivan presented each deputy their new badge, which their loved one pinned to their uniform for the first time.
